‘The Gifted Book Series’ by Gloria van Donge
Sunshine Coast educator Gloria van Donge is the author of ‘The Gifted Kid Book Series’, especially written for young gifted children, aged 2-9 years. The five stories center round a family of playful cheetah cubs, each with their own area of giftedness. Please visit my website www.giftedkidzone.com to meet Chelsea, Chadwick, Christina, Chevron and Charlotte and to view some of the colourful illustrations which enhance the text. It is Gloria’s aim that this series will create a doorway into the world of the gifted and talented child and elicit long conversations that can go on and on with family, friends and through education. These books were launched at the 22nd Biennial World Conference for Gifted and Talented where they received a warm reception by educators and school counsellors.
Primary School Home Tutor – focusing on academic consolidation and enrichment (Caloundra, Sunshine Coast)
Smart Goals Tutoring: One of my wonderful neighbours is John Joseph, recently retired from the classroom after 30+ years as a Primary School Teacher on the Sunshine Coast. John is still in high demand as a Relief Teacher. I admire how easily he relates to students and how he loves to encourage learning. John focuses on learning needs, goal setting, time management and encouraging personal belief.
